Nearly a year has gone! we are hoping to see you all down at the cemetry on 16th jan after 4.30pm. if any one can make it this would be great to just say a few words to make sure sue is resting in peace after a year has gone too fast but not a happy one! many thanks Gemma xx


Susan Whitaker also known as Smith and maiden name as Farrell. Lived in kirstall leeds, outwood Wakefield and Halton leeds. Worked in Mr Smellys make up and perfume shop in leeds and then later went on to work at marks and spencers. Alot of people may not know of sue's death as she lost contact with old friends after her split from 1st husband David to whom she has 2 daughters Keeley and Gemma. She went on to marry John Whitaker and had 1 son called Thomas. Her family miss her so much word can not describe.

She will be dearly missed and i hope all of her friends will take time out and go and visit her in cottingley where she rests in peace.xxxx


Susan Whitaker passed away in jan 2007 where she collapased at school collecting my brother thomas. Sue was taken from us with out word or warning She was 50 years old.
Sue was the light of many peoples life and will be missed to know end. She was a happy person so sweet and kind.

I have set this site up so her rememberence will stay alive.

I miss her so dearly and want every one that knew her to be able to keep her love alive.
